Claire Barber is a Global Projects & Change Director at AstraZeneca. She leads AZ’s anti-counterfeiting programme, implementing and developing strategies that give a holistic response to the challenges of ensuring patients receive genuine products supplied by AstraZeneca. In addition Claire is a Senior Expert Group member of the EFPIA Coding and Identification Project, and on the WHO IMPACT Technology working group.
Claire has a Masters Degree in Engineering from Brunel University, and 20 years experience in a variety of engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and project / programme management roles in the Pharmaceutical industry, both in the UK and internationally.

Chris joined Europol on 1st April 2009 having previously been a Senior Investigation Officer of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) with over 30 years service in that Department, during which time he gained extensive operational experience in the fields of Customs, Excise and VAT. His last HMRC position saw him based at Custom House in London, where he led a criminal investigation team which specialises in targeting Missing Trader Intra Community (MTIC) frauds.
Chris is now a Second Officer in Europol’s Financial and Property Crime unit, working on two Analysis Work Files (AWFs), MTIC (Missing Trader / Carousel fraud in VAT) and COPY (Intellectual Property Crime), having previously served two spells on secondment to Europol from HMRC dating back to November 2006. Chris has worked on the production of Europol's flagship document, the Organised Crime Threat Assessment (OCTA) and was the UK national expert charged with initiating the AWF MTIC.

For the past four years David has been employed by Pfizer, the world's largest pharmaceutical company, as a Director for Global Security within the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. He is responsible for providing expertise in the development and implementation of security policies and programs to protect the Company’s personnel, real and intellectual property, reputation, and the integrity of Pfizer’s medicines, upon which the public relies to live happier and healthier lives.
Prior to his current employment, David was a London Metropolitan Police Detective (Scotland Yard) for 20 years, proactively and reactively engaged in the investigation and reduction of serious and organised crime, both nationally and internationally. The majority of his police career was spent within dedicated units including the National Crime Squad, the Regional Crime Squad, the Central London Crime Squad, Murder Squads, Drug Squads and Special Branch, specialising in covert surveillance, intelligence gathering and proactive operations.

Dr. Silvia Fritz studied Chemistry at the University of Tübingen, Germany. She started her career in galenical manufacturing at F. Hoffmann – La Roche in Grenzach, Germany. Then she took over a function in Global Technical Registration at Headquarter in Basel, Switzerland. After 7 years working in several areas of technical registration, she moved to Global Regulatory Affairs. Among other responsibilities, Dr. Silvia Fritz coordinates the Global Roche Anti-Counterfeit Commission.

Michael Deats joined the MHRA as Head of the Enforcement Group in December 2005. He has responsibility for the investigation and prosecution of all serious breaches of medicines legislation and regulations within the UK. This includes the illegal advertising and supply of medicine, illegal importation and wholesale, clinical trial fraud and the supply of counterfeit medicines through both the regulated supply chain and the internet. He is the author of the MHRA Anti-counterfeiting Strategy.
Prior to joining the Agency, Michael was a Police officer for 30 years, serving as a Detective with the National Crime Squad, Metropolitan Police, City of London Police and retiring as a Detective Superintendent with the National Hi-Tech Crime Unit, specialising in the investigation of serious and organised crime.
As a Police officer he travelled widely in the role of Senior Investigating Officer, particularly in Russia, USA and Pakistan. Since joining the MHRA he has travelled to China and the United Arab Emirates in connection with Counterfeit Medicines.
Michael manages 45 Investigators, Intelligence Officers, lawyers and Analysts based in London, Welwyn Garden City and York.

Starting his career as an international Sales Manager, Tassilo Korab has been in the packaging industry for more than 20 years.
As a recognised expert in flexible packaging, he holds an MSc in Healthcare Economics, as well as having written several publications on patient compliance, standards and regulations for child resistant packaging and the war against counterfeits.
Tassilo Korab is Managing Director of TKM Handelsg.m.b.H., Vienna, Austria, a consulting company in the sector of Flexible Packaging for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.
He was one of the co-founders of HCPC-Europe, the Healthcare Compliance Packaging Council, a not-for-profit organization uniting the pharmaceutical industry, packaging materials suppliers, packaging machine manufacturers and patient organisations in their common endeavour to improve drug packaging design in the interest of the patients. He has been representing the organization first as funding member and member of the board and, since September 2005, as Executive Director.

Claudius Kreyenbühl, M.Sc., was born 29.10.1979. He studied Biology at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.
He began his career at F. Hoffmann – La Roche in 2006 as Complaint Manager for the technical investigation of galenical manufacturing and packaging of Roche Basel. He is now focused on the investigation of counterfeits
